California-based jewelry designer Melissa Joy Manning is one of my favorite jewelry designers. Not only do I love her jewelry, I love that they are affordable enough for me to buy. I often find her pieces at Good in Beacon Hill, though tonight I stumbled across these gold and pyrite earrings online. These Melissa Joy Manning earrings are handmade from recycled 14-karat gold and 10.00-carats of raw faceted pyrite. I have a thing for pyrite too.
Raising the bar a few dollars. . . Last Wednesday it was Gifts for Her Under $25. Do I see see $50? Splurge a little on your sister or your BFF. These presents under $50 are all seriously cute. I’d love the earrings. The tape holder is tres chic, but not sure my desk is glam enough. The note blocks are cool though. And if you’re not totally into camo fashion, but want a taste of the trend, the cosmetic pouch is perfect.
Here’s a compilation oflovely presents for a friend or sister, all under $25. A few are from online boutiques you may not have heard of, , sites that are worth exploring whether you’re buying for yourself or choosing holiday gifts.
ModCloth has really cute clothing at great prices (I just bought this adorable camera tee). Furbish Studio, a boutique in Raleigh owned by designer Jamie Meares, has fun home furnishings, as well as gifty gems. And, I just discovered including Waiting on Martha, an e-boutique and blog by Mandy Kellogg Rye, who plans to open a brick and mortar outpost in Atlanta next year.
