Following up on Friday’s post about Susanna Salk’s upcoming book Room for Children: Stylish Spaces for Sleep and Play (Rizzoli), I’ve curated some of my favorite images of spaces for kids. At the end of the post, I’ve included links to my previous kid room posts. Definitely inspires me to at least clean up, if not redecorate.

Loving your Montages and your timing is perfect! I have to pick the color today for the 2 boys’ rooms..yikes! The 13 yr old wants stripes-thanks to your earlier montage! Keep up the great blog, I visit you with my coffee most mornings and dream of actually finding time for a blog of my own. Think I’m only a few t stops away so feel free to visit:)
These are wonderful! Thanks.
WOW! Fabulous, thanks!!
Great round up! Perfect inspiration for anyone working on a nursery!
Hi there, I’m wondering if you can provide a name for the gorgeous bed / bench / storage system in the gorgeous Laura Smera room. I’m new to your blog (love it) and can’t figure out if the photo features something the designer built for the space or if this is available commercially. Would love links to more information. Thanks!
Hi Faye, Thanks for reading. The names under each photo indicates the interior designer who designed the space. That is, unless it says architect so and so or photographer so and so. If it says via with a blog name, I found it on said blog, but don’t have the design/photo info. If it has a magazine name, it’s from that magazine. I’ve also since started linking back to those people’s sites.
I’m actually not all that sure who Laura Smera is… I thought she was a photographer, but I’m uncertain. Here is a link to her Flickr photo stream.http://www.flickr.com/photos/29322304@N02/ but some of those photos are from Domino… she didn’t take all of them I don’t think. Sorry I can’t be more helpful. I’d like to solve that mystery. You may be able to contact her through Flickr.
Thanks for reading.
