Get the Look: Daybeds

I’m actually not a pillow addict, but I know a lot of you are. A few of you have admitted it to me, in writing, so don’t deny it now. If there ever was an excuse to pile on the pillows, a daybed is it. Pick your style, there are tons to choose from . . . And thank me anytime for supporting your obsession!

  1. Wow, wow, wow! This is the most amazing roundup of daybeds I’ve ever seen. I love daybeds (and pillows!) and all of these beauties are killing me because I have no room for one!

I’m not sure how I found your blog but it’s fantastic. I’m so glad I stumbled on it. I really love your header – I’m so loving green right now. πŸ™‚

  2. Congratulations Style Carrot on a wonderful yet quirky blog and on the fabulous display of day beds.

Day beds are such a versatile and stylish addition to any decor it’s surprising you don’t see more of them in design features. And let’s face it, they’re comfy and oh so relaxing. With such a vast array of day beds to choose from, I imagine they would enhance the decor in almost any room of the house – from the bedroom to the living room to the outdoor pergola area.

It’s a tragedy that the frantic pace of our lifestyle means that so few of us have the time to lie blissfully quiet on a luxurious day bed while we simply contemplate our navel. I say “let’s bring back the day bed!”

  3. Great post! I’m trying to id the white daybed with the round bolsters…the one that has the small back “corners” to it. I’m clicking through your links without success. Can you tell me which one it is? Thanks!

  4. Love!!! looking for the daybed(Ellie Lounge) at Boston Interiors – told it is made by MAX HOME from the people at B.I., but they no longer carry it. M.H. said they only deal with retailers (ie I can’t buy directly from them). HELP!! I love this daybed/settee/whatever. I love the Presidio Settee from Williams Sonoma Home – but too much $$. Any suggestions?

  5. I also am looking for a better del on the Presidio Settee but have not had any luck, if you know of any pleeeaaasseee let me know!

Let's talk style.
