New rose bushes producing pretty flowers that look gorgeous against my Sarah Lutz painting, not to mention the beautiful cover of Georgia O’Keeffe: Visions of Hawai’i (Prestel, 2018).

The chocolate mint is going crazy in my garden this summer. I haven’t found a culinary use for it, but I love how the cuttings stay fresh for so long.

Sunday Bouquet: Little Buds Long Branch

Little White Flowers On a Branch In Cape Cod

Cape Cod in June can be quite sparse. Two weeks ago there were actually more blooms in our yard than there are now. I cut this branch from a flowering tree (bush)? I’m not sure what it’s called. The flowers lasted over a week, but now the tree has only green leaves. Maybe I’ll find something else out there tomorrow morning after all the weekend rain.
