I posted 40 Green Rooms back in the summer of 2009, so it’s time for an update, especially since Saturday is St. Patrick’s Day. (Not that I’m Irish, but green is my favorite color.) Mint green is trending in fashion, but unfortunately, I didn’t come across many mint green interiors in my photo archives. Maybe that’s a whole other post down the line. Let me know if you’ve spotted any mint green rooms around the web.

I have a mint green wall in my dining area and love it.
I should send you a pic.
yes, you should! my living room is a cross between mint and meadow, i suppose. didn’t think of that : )
I so enjoy this post…I love to use green in my designs when I can. In my townhouse, I thought I was terribly brave to use two different greens in my living room and dining room. Somehow it work! The person, who brought my home still has the small colors. Over 10 years…Because of your post it has inspired me to go “green” once again. 🙂
The green room in Lonny credited as Steven Gambrel is not his. That is an Oscar De La Renta Home room designed by Miles Redd in a Lee Jofa showcase. Take it from me, I worked across from this room. Great use of green however. We had no idea how he was going to pull off that tone until it was complete.
Thank you Katherine, much appreciated. Fixing now!
