If you’re in the market for an extra spot to sit, put up your feet, or set down a drink, consider an X-stool. Actually, consider two – they look great in pairs. There’s a teak model for outdoors, an exquisite Biedermeier set in a curule form, sharp velvet upholstered examples by Jonathan Adler, as well as an identical design compliments of Ballard, a cardboard version for tree huggers and, of course, Mies van der Rohe’s leather and chrome Barcelona stool. Which do you love?

I love the Ballard upholstered version and the Collette by PB is so elegant. I loved the limed look of the one from Wisteria, too. They make me want a bigger living room. 🙂
