I got an email this morning alerting me to the new and very colorful dinnerware collection by The Novogratz, now available at Macy’s (see #9). That’s Cortney and Robert Novogratz, the husband and wife design duo and parents of seven children, whose fun aesthetic has been the subject of an HGTV show and several collections for CB2. I’ve long been a fan of the CB2 Family rug, which is sadly no longer in production. (I’d kinda been thinking about using it in our Florida condo.)
The dinnerware would look great in an all white decor, which got me thinking, what other colorful tabletop patterns are available, if one were to extend beyond white or basic neutrals Here are 17 multicolor dinnerware options I found. I’ve always loved iitala Origo (#10), and Donna’ Wilson’s pink pastel (#4) is adorable, if you had the right Scandinavian inspired space. Would you stray from white for any of these?
Sad news. Panami from Bliss Home on Newbury Street just emailed to say that after eight years, she will be re-locating her fab little shop to Marblehead on the North Shore. The last day will be April 24th. In the meantime, wares will be 30% off, so it’s a great time to stock up on any Alessi gadgets you might be coveting.
P.S. Apparently Kitchen Arts is closing too. More on that when the rumor is confirmed.
