Get the Look: Boston Condo by Ana Donohue

I put together furniture and accessories so you can re-create the living room, dining room, and desk area of a the condo I featured as yesterday’s blog post: “Design Diary: Boston Pied-a-Terre by Ana Donohue.” Interior designer Ana Donohue decorated the two bedroom in Boston’s Back Bay for clients who live full time in Bermuda. Get the Look: 28 Leather Sofas in Cognac, Tobacco & Caramel

If you’re looking for living room furniture, would you consider a leather sofa? Leather sofas, especially those in natural shades, can look truly fantastic in a living room with a more modern aesthetic. I would never have thought of pairing leather and sheepskin, or leather and bright pops of color, but the combination works.

Get the Look: Colorful Multicolor Dinnerware

I got an email this morning alerting me to the new and very colorful dinnerware collection by The Novogratz, now available at Macy’s. That’s Cortney and Robert Novogratz, the husband and wife design duo and parents of seven children, whose fun aesthetic has been the subject of an HGTV show and several collections for CB2. I’ve long been a fan of the CB2 Family rug, which is sadly no longer in production. (I’d kinda been thinking about using it in our Florida condo.)
