Hello, I follow your blog and enjoy your posts. The Target designs look wonderful. But the upholstered pieces carry a California Prop. 65 warning. That is not good. We should all be trying to buy furniture without flame retardants and endocrine disruptors. In CA you can even replace the foam in your existing furniture with non-flame retardant foam (not here in Boston, too bad). I would urge style leaders like you to publicize this issue and make this part of your criteria for furnishings. We need to make changes, for our children and grandchildren, and pregnancy-age women, if not for all of us! This is not a trivial, elite issue anymore. See greensciencepolicy.org for more information. Thank you, Nancy
Hi Nancy, That’s really interesting and good to know. I will update this post. I can’t promise to cross check every single piece of furniture I mention, but I will try to bring help this issue get more attention. Thanks for reading.
Not really a fan of buying furniture from target but those chairs look beautiful and would certainly suit my living space
