Site Spotlight: Novica + $75 Gift Certificate Giveaway

In association with National Geographic, ecommerce site Novica provides a platform for artisans around the globe to sell their artwork and wares. There’s sterling silver jewelry with druzy gems from Brazil and turquoise from Mexico, African masks and handwoven baskets, batik scarves and pillows from India, rugs from the Andes Mountains, Mayan hammocks, Balinese coconut carvings, Thai ceramics, and other home furnishings, fashions and accessories with an ethnic flavor. Novica gave me a $75 gift certificate to pass on to one of you. If you win, consider using it for a unique gift for your mom, seeing how Mother’s Day is not far off.

ENTER TO WIN $75 GIFT CERTIFICATE TO NOVICA: Leave a comment on this post noting in which country you’d most like to shop. And if you could “like” StyleCarrot on Facebook, that’d be cool too (though not required to enter.) Deadline to enter is Monday, April 8 at midnight ET.

  1. I would love to travel to Morocco someday! Specifically Marrakesh. Over the years as I have devoured design magazines and books for inspiration on my own home, I have become obssessed with Morocco’s beni ourain rugs, handiras (wedding blankets), tiles, stenciling, poufs, lanterns, you name it. I love that these are very traditional design elements, but they can be mixed so easliy into modern or transitional decor.

  2. Brazil! Love the Murano Artisans of Brazil. The hand blown vases are elegant with a pop of bold color… Just my style.

  3. I would most like to shop the jewelry from India!

Thanks for the chance to win!
