Kay Wang founded her Brooklyn-based architectural jewelry line The Things We Keep in 2011. Her sculptural pieces are modern and minimal everyday pieces. All work is designed and fabricated by hand in New York City. The Velde necklace is a marriage of textile and metal, both primitive and contemporary, made of hand-twisted linen rope and cast brass.
