Idyll Home is a British webshop offering a tightly curated collection of home furnishings and decor that have a vintage modern aesthetic, infused with a bit of the rustic and industrial. I hadn’t come across it until this morning, when proprietor Claire Krier sent me a note. I happened to need a quick topic to blog on this morning, so was psyched to see her darling offerings. Idyll Home is based in the Staffordshire countryside. Krier searches out things that aren’t in every shop, including ethical and recycled products. Lines include American meets Indian favorite John Robshaw, Danish brands Tine K and House Doctor, and Dutch tabletop company Jansen + Co. Below are a dozen pieces from Idyll Home that I’d love to own.

Can I just say what a comfort to discover somebody that
genuinely understands what they’re talking about online. You actually understand how to bring a problem to light and make it important. A lot more people need to check this out and understand this side of the story. I was surprised that you are not more popular since you surely have the gift.
