Just In: Studio Bon Textiles

As much as I’d love to wander around design centers and attend market week in NYC, most of my work involves writing at home. So I’m thrilled when I’m alerted to new textiles and wall covering designs without having left my desk.

This morning. I got an email from Schumacher about Studio Bon.  I love, love, love it the fall collection. The line, created by designer Bonnee Sharp, debuted in 2008. The 34 item collection includes seven new patterns, all printed by hand with water-based pigments in the United States.

I often think fabrics are too fussy and fancy, or too loud, cutesy, or trendy. But these I could live with for a very long time. I just need to figure out where to fit them in.

  1. OH! These are exactly what I was looking for for my window seat. I could have struggled deciding between at least five…instead of settling on the one I have. Is a year too soon to reupholster? Or I need to find something to reupholster – stat!

Let's talk style.
