  1. Mixing up my workout every couple of weeks or sometimes every days helps keep me motivated and is my favorite way to stay in shape since it’s fun trying something new! Some weeks I’ll just run, then others I’ll add yoga, dance and spinning classes to keep my work outs fresh and interesting!

  2. 2 preferred modes of excercise: walk with friends and tennis.
One provides energy and emotional sustenance. The other offers real ease like nothing else… It really is thrilling to wack the daylights out something every week;)

  3. baptiste hot yoga brookline saturday mornings 9am
it makes you feel better about anything bad you ate or did on friday night
    : )

  4. As an office manager I spend way too much time sitting @ a desk, I have just started a new Yoga class for beginer’s & could really use some Beautful & functional clothes! I am walking every morning before work & trying to get out and enjoy this lovely fall weather before winter sets in. Hopefully get a routine going before the darkness falls & envelops us for another 3 months

  5. I love yoga! Vinyasa flow is my favorite. I also love HIIT. interval training keeps my heart pumping and my metabolism revved up all day.

  6. Last March I found the Boston-based group November Project, and have been hooked ever since. The “tribe” meets three mornings per week at 6:30am, which means workouts are over before the work day starts… It’s the best way to avoid making excuses!

  7. I just raised my computer station on my desk at home so that now after a full day of sitting in the office, I have to stand up at home if I want to be online/blog writing/etc. I figure it’s an easy way to sneak in some “exercise” (picture trying to balance in a modified tree pose while typing … )

  8. Definitely my favorite workout is yoga, but I also enjoy walking/jogging at the park down the street from me because the scenery is so beautiful. I hate that winter is coming.

  9. The best fitness advice I ever got was to think back to how you loved to move around as a child. When we were little, we’d move to feel free. Now, when I do the things I did as a kid, like dancing and running, I can tap back into that feeling, and I enjoy every moment of it.

  10. my favorite way to keep in shape is to do youtube ab videos at home. Another great way to stay in shape is having great music while on the stepper or bike. it keeps you motivated and keep your blood pumping no matter how you are feeling. It keeps you striving and working consistently hard.

  11. I like to join group fitness boot camps. It’s a great way to challenge yourself and track progress. It also teaches me new workouts. Today I learned Turkish Get Ups!

  12. I like to run, do YouTube workout videos (but it’s hard for me to stay committed when it’s just me and someone on the tv), and I like group workout classes too

  13. Love riding my bike! Just started riding my bike more often. Great exercise and a nice way to enjoy the outdoors.

  14. I think I’ve gotten really lucky with my exercise regime. My job gives us an hour a day for gym time…which was a huge blessing. Regardless of the given time, its still difficult to get inspired sometimes. When I feel unmotivated, I always try to remind myself how much better I feel after a nice workout. I think more clearly and my mood is elevated. Its definitely difficult, but I try my best:)

  15. I walk in my neighborhood and on my treadmill and just started jujitsu. I hope I can stick with that because I am super sore today.

  16. I do lots of different movement to stay in shape. I change up my exercise (and my Ipod playlists) every month to keep it fresh. Right now I am loving alternating Pilates mat/reformer workouts with total body circuit training. I run my pups a few miles most mornings and on other days I do the Stepmill ( the rotating stair machine that is like 7 feet high- best cardio e.v.e.r!)

  17. I get to live in the beautiful mountain town of Sun Valley, ID where everyone is active. My exercise is a mix of CrossFit, yoga, hiking and running. The strength I get from doing CrossFit makes me feel amazing while yoga keeps me lean and flexible. Hiking with my dogs on the weekend lets me explore different trails and peaks while enjoying breathtaking scenery. I tend to go through workout clothes pretty fast!

Let's talk style.
