ARTmonday: 14 Artworks from the MassArt Auction 2015

Like the School of Museum of Fine Arts, the Massachusetts College of Art & Design holds a sale, in this case an auction, to benefit scholarship and academic programs. The 26th Annual MassArt Auction 2015 takes place in Boston this Saturday, April 11th at 6:30. Karen Keane of Skinner will be presiding.

In addition to the many paintings, photos, drawings, sculptures, and multimedia works for auction, there are three special commissions: a portrait sitting with William Wegman (1965) at his home in Chelsea, NYC, a custom evening gown by Jeury Roasario (2003), and a commission of products in your pantry by Rachel Perry Welty.

Here are 14 artworks I love from the MassArt Auction 2015, all open for online bids now on Paddle8 through April 10.
