Opus is tres groovy. We have the Index (2nd item in 2nd row) and it is great; goes across D's entire study. Of course, there's no back, which is a pain for books, but good as a room divider if somebody was so inclined. Pricey, but we got the floor sample! Also have the wall pocket (2nd item in 1st row) - incredibly useful! OK, this is getting silly, but we also have the orange cubits (8th row) for our little orange loving guy - very cute but cubes are sort of limiting. And I love the IKEA Bergsbo - got some on Craig's List in black. Yes particleboard, but quite sleek, and the glass doors are a nice touch. How do you feel about the Blu Dot Chicago? I think it would look good in your apt. You can stack books flat on the empty space in between the shelves...

Hard to pick a favorite. Love the Opus-- it has some whimsy without losing its practicality-- and no bookends needed!
